moher cliffs, galway

but first. we got stuck in traffic....we finally got to the end and figured out that traffic was blocked for a FUNERAL!  again, Irish take death VERY seriously!

we spent the morning at the moher cliffs.  when asked if it was worth visiting. i say YES!!!!  it was breathtaking.  

we walked through the museum part....then a walk to the cliffs. it was a windy day not cold, just very windy!

to see something in person that you saw many times in books....makes my heart sing.  i grew up having a book of ireland and among the pics were these cliffs.  to see them in person, the size, the color, the sound of the ocean and the smell of the salt. reminds me of home

the top of the museum on the way back to the car.  hahaha.  i didnt tour this museum, we spent the time outside instead.
