so...nate was intro'd to vomit and lots of it last night...every hour on the hour from 12:30-6 nate was puking...it was NASTY...and it went everywhere, bedding, multiple pj changes, over me, our floor, our bedding...ewww...
so today i have been house bounded...which is actually a blessing...i have spent the time super wisely... so far today i have:
-washed, dried and put away loads of laundry
-washed bedding...all bedding
-cleaned both bathrooms upstairs...from top to bottom
-cleaned my room
-cleaned guestroom
-wiped down all baseboards
-wiped down the walls
-vacuumed the entire upper level
-mopped the upstairs
-wiped the hallway walls
-made 2 pans of hamburger casserole
-prepped and started supper
-answered 3 emails
-made a craft with nate
-vacuumed the lower level
i still have more laundry to fold and put away, waiting on the dryer, i have to make some muffins and crossing fingers a loaf of bread...
i am TIRED! but i also haven't done much house work as of late...
so there ya go. my moring in a nut shell
how did you spend your morning?
*i must add this. i had a crappy attitude when i started, i was tired after spending 1/2 the night with nate...the house was trashed, i was overwhelmed, tired, cranky and annoyed...as i started to scrub the walls (i hate doing that) i felt to put some good worship music on, so i did...then i heard
"and he gives the childless woman a family; making her a happy mother"
that changed my attitude, so i scrubbed, sang, played with nate and chose to clean and be happy!
i just found this new translation of the same verse....i love it!
God is higher than anything and anyone,
outshining everything you can see in the skies.
Who can compare with God, our God,
so majestically enthroned,
Surveying his magnificent
heavens and earth?
He picks up the poor from out of the dirt,
rescues the wretched who've been thrown out with the trash,
Seats them among the honored guests,
a place of honor among the brightest and best.
He gives childless couples a family,
gives them joy as the parents of children.
Hallelujah!
good stuff...
