they were emailing papa yesterday in florida. dad, did you get it? nate wanted to know when on the 14th are you coming? haha

i brought the paint set back out for ellie! nate showed ZERO interest in art, so i packed it away. i thought the other day, why not try ellie?

she was quite taken with the whole thing
nate joined in!

and he LOVED it! he has painted 3+ pictures every day this week, he even asks to paint! yeah!

i have turned 1/2 my dining room wall into an art studio, show casing nate's paintings. good job buddy! and a huge check for me for saying "yes, we do art" hahahaha 2 comments

arielles 5th b-day!

on my way to the partay, i saw this sign in the distance! we are getting a MARSHALLS!! wheeeeee! love that store!

we hit up arielle's 5th birthday, i remember going to visit v in the hospital right after arielle was born. i cant believe shes 5! and going to school in september!

the party was held at sobeys, in the community room. the kids made pizza's, decorated cookies, had cake etc...what a GREAT idea! * if i did parties, i would totally do this!

more of my blessings (and a daddy fail!)

sat morning, i took nate to the movies, i hit up the drive thou to grab a coffee for myself when nate tells me "mom, im hungry, dad didn't give me anything to eat" WHAT? it was 10 to 11! i called chris and asked him if he fed nate and he said |oops, i forgot. but i did feed ellie" i told chris that he owes me 5 bucks because now i have to buy him a meal. hahahaha nate enjoyed his breakfast during the movie. haha

i was changing the monthly calendar and nate wanted a picture. this is a first. he got a color every day in january! and quite a few stickers

for nate to get a color, he has to have his books out when i get back from putting ellie for her nap, working on his calendar book/or starting it. there cant be any bad attitude, complaining or issues during the whole book time. to get a sticker, his work must be exceptional, his attitude has to be awesome...he really has to work for it.

nate has noticed that with his attitude change during school, i changed too. i want to sit with him, to laugh with him and be there for him. i am more lax in certain areas and i am more inclined to give him some special treats. its a win win.

SO glad i put the hard work in last yr and set the standard. home schooling him is enjoyable!

fri night date night!

i took nate out fri night, not for any reason other than i love him and i enjoy being with him
we hit up crystal palace where he played games (and didn't ask for any rides!) and earned more tickets

such concentration. ha. we turned the tickets in and much to my surprise can chose to save the tickets to save up for a big prize!

then we checked out the lego show!

nate was super impressed and talked about having uncle johnny up to help him make something

very intrigued

i was impressed with what i saw and thankfully the place wasn't packed yet!

my little man, looking tired after a big day. i was so hungry after i hit up wendys and got me a burger and fries! YUM! SO good. ha. but i paid the price all night. long. heartburn and an upset tummy but it was worth it! 0 comments
