prechurch show

quinn looking sharp!
buds in their duds
posers
gq anyone?
i left nate's sunday dress to chris. i had to leave super early for church. i was quite nervous about this why? let's see
white pants (light colored undies and socks are a must)
cardy (button the bottom but not the top)
shirt (don't tuck, leave out)
hair (gel!)
face (wash it!)
freshly dressed 2 yr old boys require pic's on the snap, before they get dirty, spill and mess up their outfits...mommie's make sure this all goes down and has the pics to prove it
great job chris!
*thanks cry for fixing nate, washing his face, changing his undies from navy blue to white and putting the matching shoes on...not that boots would be wrong or anything...and taking pics for me

easter sunday church!

the kids choir (i know the pic is blurry, i chose it on purpose-i never post pics of ppl esp kids with out contacting the parents but there is just too many ppl to contact so blurry is ok, you can't "see" who they are)

anyways. i am beyond thrilled with the kids. they did AWESOME! i am SO proud of each and everyone of them! jill did an amazing job with them!! thanks for all the hard work you did!!!
nate chilling in his class while i sang

can you see me? i am in a choir (that i did not get kicked out of or have the mic turned off on)
we did quite well, if i do say so myself.
this may look like a silly, simple, fun thing to do. but it was not! joining this choir was huge for me. it took me WAY out of my comfort place. over all it went well.
i went from the first 3ish practices of feeling like i was in the 8th grade in the caf, looking for a place to put my tray down and sit to the last practice of feeling like i was leaving the 9th grade, knowing a few more ppl that i did not know before :)
would i do it again? sure. it's good to grow and step out. even if you are scared

sunday pm

chris and myself, the fab-o-los self shot
daddy with his tea; i must say the new diet (cancer related) is looking sharp on you

quinn and moi after church
uncle johnny and quinn
then the boys went for their must needed naps. we headed to the patio for bbq and chatter. jon with his new puppy, snoopy
jon and snoops
self shot
sister self shot
jon went and got nate from his nap. he also kindly dressed him. great job jon!
instead of doing the normal "sunday after church over priced brunch is a loud, rushed restaurant" we chilled on the patio, bbq'd burgers, chicken and had a great time catching up, gabbing and enjoying ourselves in the calm environment (when the boys were napping) i say it's a definite must to redo next year. no more restaurants!

that bunny!

that old easter bunny left quite the mess all over my house!
and the front and back lawn!
i showed the boys the mess that awful bunny made
then gave them buckets to "go clean that mess up!"
nate discovered that the plastic eggs had candy in them, so he stopped and opened everyone
the spectators watching the boys clean up the mess
getting into this whole mess cleaning up thing
quinn had quite the loot by the time we got to the front of the house due to nate's stopping to open each egg. ha
off they go, bestest buds
quinn with his almost full bucket
nate finding more eggs around the trees
quinn's loot
nate's empty basket; while showing me his ability to eat, gather and collect candy with one hand
in the house we go to finish cleaning up that big mess
then it was time to open the big present
a puzzle book was his big prize! wheee
not just any puzzle book but the jungle book
playing with daddy
me and my quinny
dr. quinn is here, he makes house calls
ohh nanna and poppy you are so silly
yes, i told nate all about the easter bunny. after church. i told him it was a story. just a story. don't get all religious on me.
i also decided that we will only do our easter stuff after church in the afternoon on easter sunday. the kid(s) will only get 1 present, under 5 bucks until 5ish. then a max of 10 bucks after that. the candy will be limited as well.
easter is about jesus and what he did for us. not candy
the easter egg hunt was a hoot. this morning nate told me that that old bunny made a messy, mess, mess in my house and that he cleaned it all up. then he said "clean up another mess of candy today. please. please" haha

for those who want to know

but are too kind to ask
the pain has not left

the time is coming close to my delivery
most likely ben would have been born after the holiday
i would be 36 wks tomorrow
the dr's wanted me to get to 37 and deliver my babe

my friends are now starting to deliver and bring their babies home
my crib is empty
no baby in my arms
maybe next year?
maybe not

i will stand and see the goodness of god, in the land of the living

i have not written much about my son as of the late; sometimes it's just too painful and some things are better left unsaid

keeping my heart, mind, soul and eyes on what's ahead, not looking back, to the left or right. my eyes are looking forward. chris is at my right side, holding my hand, nathaniel is on my left. we will walk forward 1 comments
