we took nate to the park. i discovered how a year can change things. see that tiny, red dot? that would be nate. he left us to go play. all by himself

amazed by the big tank
until he saw the train (there is a train behind the bars) nate loves trainsnate is growing up so fast. with it comes changing and shifting of our relationship. i am amazed by how independent he is becoming. which is a good thing
he's old enough to go get me stuff. bawahhh
but young enough to allow me to kiss boo boo's and give cuddles
i will never regret turning off the vacuum, stop folding/putting away laundry, cleaning or cooking to read him a book or give a cuddle when he asks for it
not because nate is spoiled and i give him too much attention
but because the house will always be here
he won't be
