Mr.Bosma
i've mentioned in the past, that i followed the killing trial of timothy bosma closely...this is true.
i cant gather why, i dont know. but i have followed. and listened to so much. from each and every daily trail account, to the google searches and heart felt tears. i didnt know this man, or his wife or even his family. but for some reason 3 yrs ago, a random news article gripped my heart and i find myself 3 yrs later, following the murder trail. daily.
something in me yells THIS IS SO WRONG! so SENSELESS! so sad
why???
i dont know why, but from following this trial from moncton, to halifax, from airports to orlando ( where i spent my evenings, reading up on the daily events) from the last 4 months.until yesterday, when the jury went into succession (isolation) to determine their verdict. i am at loss for words.
i have no idea why this case had effected me the way it has
i dont know "why i care" about someone i dont know, or will ever meet
or why i cry over a death so senseless
so unreal
so undeserving
so evil
so unfair
god, you know our hearts before we even say a word. you know. god be great in this case. as a jury sits and decides. be with the family of those who lost a son, a husband, a father, a friend, be great in all this....tim bosma. rest in true peace

last friday night, chris and i hired a babysitter and went out for dinner. dinner was great. cafe Archibald never lets us down
we came home to this. 2 thumbs up. and a clean house! have i mentioned this, we LOVE maddy!
everything was folded! i was impressed, in the past when i hire sitters i come home to a mess and dishes everywhere. this is a first! awesome!
they are building more houses....we went to check them out. so fun for the kids to play around on
ellie and the fish pond. she was quite taken with these friendly fish who kept coming to her and opening their mouths for food!
she was feeding them rocks. haha
joey and ellie. oh they played. and played. by the end of the day, joey was stripped to a diaper. she was so dirty! i tried to savage her pants, and tossed them both in the tub! playing is fun work!
ellie brought bunny along. and set him up. she told me he was napping while they played. haha
church sun morning. ellie was all dressed up and looked so cute. and wanted to bring her toy gun with her...hahaha
two peas in a pod!
she was allowed to bring the gun in the car! not to church thou
on the way home we came across this. a jumper! she was later talked down off the pass and brought to the hospital. it was a interesting chat on the way home, explaining this detour to the kids
it has been raining non stop for days now....on sunday, i had enough. i put the kids in rain gear and went to the park. they had SO much fun. we had the park to ourselves!
and joey took her boots off
and ran around. she is such a busy, happy little thing
yesterday morning. the girls played in the front room. i found them like this
playing nap time. ellie put joey to bed and she went to bed too
hahaha love how they play together!!
this is a quick post, while joey i napping and nate is finishing up school. ellie is sitting on my lap as i type. my days are full and filled. challenges, tears, frustrations and laughter....ill update more on that later when i have a chance to sit and think...ha 0 comments Posted by mel at 1:07 PM

the wkend!
my little joey, she put her helmet on and was ready for a bike ride
saturday was the 2nd anniversary of the day moncton lost 3 RCMP. our church held a memorial service, with the guest speaker from a christian peace officer support group. i was literally blown away, and had tears as i sat and listened to this detective from the states share his story. he dealt with child protection, meaning he investigated the worst, horrid stories of child abuse.
we we came into the parking lot we were met with 2 fire trucks holding the canadian flag
the RCMP pipe and brass band, and the officers were behind
entering the church
it was a really great service. so thankful we have officers who protect us. thank you shawn!
sun night we found the girls like this
my heart!
mon was raining and cold. we did our best to have some fun. haha
me heart!
then joey worked on her math
and reading
sunday afternoon nate had a friend from forest school over for a play date, as i was driving the boy home we came up on an accident scene. i knew just by looking it was bad. yesterday there were flowers and balloons where the accident was. today there was a death notice in the paper. how scary that an afternoon bike ride would turn fatal. after hearing the service that morning and listening to the detective, this put my life back into perspective
im so thankful for all i have
